MUSIC FOR LESSONS

Things to know about these songs:

A. For NOTATION students: Most of the songs with notation do not have fingering and brackets. As you choose a song for practice, add your fingerings and brackets for each tune.

B. For TABLATURE students: All the songs are arranged in patterns with fingering underneath the pattern already. Be aware that even though the key is stated as raising up or down certain levers, the letters reflected in that song will not have sharps or flats next to the string name. Example: If the key of the song is F, and you see a B in the song, it is played as a Bb, not a B natural note.

C. Choose your song to practice. Print it out and bring it to our lesson.

D. READ FIRST: Songs are grouped in folders that will open in a new window on top of this page. You will need to close them when you are done with them to get back to this page and this list of folders. Right click on any PDF (Adobe document) you want to save to your computer and choose Save As and then you can stay on this page while make choices.
